Water for Bangladesh.

Over the years our little congregation has had a passion for providing deep tube wells for Bangladesh. We have raised money for 5 wells and they have been installed  in villages that up to now have had no fresh water. Just imagine your wife or kids having to walk  6 to 10 kms to get water that is bug infested and animals have bathed and urinated in. These villages now have access to clean water. Not only the villages get to enjoy this water, but people from all around hear about it and come. There are now thousands of men, women and children that benefit from these wells. We had a ten km walk for water a couple of years ago and actually did so in the midst of a small hurricane. ( I get the irony)  We want to thank all our people who give from their hearts to this end. We have pictures from the last installation and I will try to get them on our web page.

A note about the latest : Thank you for the $2000.00 for the deep tube well. I have just heard from the Exe Director of the National Compassionate Ministries Canada. She said that it will be installed in Nepal and will have an accompanying plaque saying that it was funded by our Church. Picture will be forwarded when it is installed.

This  deep tube well is needed for drinking as well as irrigation of home gardens which are being planted as the result of the Canadian Food Grains Bank - funded food security project in south eastern Nepal. This well is an amazing contribution to the project and we thank you for so much for what you are doing to make a difference in the lives of those in need.
Great Job for such a small church.
