Haiti

Last October Colleen and Robert Johnson felt the call to go to Haiti to help build a church. It was a life changing event. They saw the poorest of the poor people of the world. The place where we built the Church was a three hour drive from Port Au Prince. The living standards are 3rd world country standards. no running water..no plumbing and no electricity. The "Church " that these people were worshipping had thatched grass walls ..and a mud floor. If there was any rain, it would not have been conducive for holding a service. They now have a beautiful cement building with a tin roof, pew enough to hold a couple hundred people and the pastor tell us that they will have no problem filling it up. While we were there building the Church , we were surrounded by hundreds of people every day. I could go on, but there would not be enough space to do so here.. We have created a 30 minute slide presentation if anyone is interested. A second trip is being considered tor 2018. Our little Church was very helpful in providing money and prayerful support. Please remember to be praying for the Missionaries who are stationed there. Darin and Tonya Kucey. If you want to see some of the fascinating  projects that Darin and Tonya are involved in on a daily basis... please follow the link I have provided...
